The Second China-ASEAN Youth Camp and
China-ASEAN Youth leaders Meeting in 2007

In the Commemorative Summit Marking the 15th Anniversary of China-
ASEAN Dialogue Relations in October 2006, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and ASEAN Leaders signed Joint Statement of China-ASEAN Commemorative Summit, which proposed to strengthen youth exchange by launching pilot programs like China-ASEAN Youth leaders Meeting, China-ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Association and China-ASEAN Young Civil Servants Exchange Program.

The All-China Youth Federation hosted the 1st China-ASEAN Youth Camp in 2006, the 15th anniversary of dialogue relations between China and ASEAN. The camp created favorable atmosphere for the China-ASEAN Commemorative Summit, enhanced the understanding and friendship between China and ASEAN youths and made good achievements.

In order to implement the Joint Statement and promote the friendly
exchange and cooperation between China and ASEAN youth in various areas, the All-China Youth Federation will organize the 2nd
China-ASEAN Youth Camp and China-ASEAN Youth leaders Meeting back to back in August 2007, so as to further enhance the relations between China and ASEAN youth and push the youth exchange development todeeper and more extensive level.
